Shades

The sun finally appeared one afternoon. We were at the zoo to meet some friends. My eldest began to complain that it was way too bright. Hmm…not much I can do about that.

We went into the zoo’s gift shop. The clearance baseball caps were adult sizes and the non-clearance hats had plush animal faces protruding from them (there was a time when my boys would have worn these with great gusto). So we settled on sunglasses and were then able to enjoy the zoo in the bright sun.

My eldest was so happy, he’s actually smiling in this picture, while my youngest obviously thought the shades bumped up his “coolness” factor a notch and hence was not able to smile.

rain, showers, hail. This seems to be the daily weather forecast recently. I love to photograph outdoors, so scheduled photography dates around here call for a bit of flexibility.

M. and I changed our meeting place due to the weather and met at a local coffee house.
