My boys and I were walking on the beach as science investigators, trying to look closely at everything, when we saw these tiny little tracks in the sand.

A big thank you goes to my “assistant” who was invaluable to me at Dan and Emily’s wedding. He carried my equipment, brought me water (& food), gathered family for portraits, modeled for lighting purposes , even carried Emily’s train.

At Friday’s rehearsal, the flower girl was enjoying her task of holding the basket and “standing” with the bridesmaids. The ring bearer was a little hesitant and really didn’t wander far from mom.

Father-daughter relationships tug at my heart.
I am one of four daughters, and I greatly treasure my relationship with my dad.
It makes me smile when I see other daughters enjoying their dads…I smiled a lot this past weekend (the bride is one of three daughters).
