O.k., so I’ve got to admit that when I’ve thought about wedding photography, ring shots excite me. There are some wedding photographers whose work I truly admire who are very creative with their ring shots.
Here are a few of mine from this weekend’s wedding.

The wedding rehearsal was in the late afternoon on Friday. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I spent that afternoon at the wedding site, taking a few pictures and soaking up the beauty around me.
I really wasn’t planning on taking photos at the rehearsal but I couldn’t resist this one!

Have a great Tuesday!

If I could sum up this past weekend in one word, it would be beauty…
a very beautiful bride, summer sunshine, amazing scenery, and beautiful wedding details.
On Friday afternoon, I spent a bit of time exploring the amazing wedding site which has a beautiful pond. Still trying to keep up with my Project 365, here is a photo of beauty even in pond life.

Other than a weekend away (and tons of fun photographing!), the upcoming wedding has given me an opportunity to spend some time with my eldest nephew.
He picked me up at the airport last night and treated me to dinner.
It was so good to just sit with him, listen, and share.

Thank you, James! I always enjoy our times together, but last night was especially fun!

I am so thankful for them! Through friends, I am blessed, encouraged, strengthened, filled with joy, and reminded of truth.
I was thinking of this again last night as I was able to spend a little more time with friends who today are embarking on a 3-year adventure, much of which will be spent in Africa.

I know I will see them again, but I will miss them!
