We’re a little tardy this year in carving pumpkins. It’s usually something we do at the beginning of October so we can enjoy the smiles all month long. Here it is, October 31st…and we’ll be carving tonight.
Last night we were commenting on this sad state of affairs and all began laughing when we thought of our carving experience a few years ago. I searched for some evidence and found these

So I’m trying out a slide show format…as usual, my learning curve with all-things-tech is huge! The software is great and very-user friendly; it’s just this user is a bit slow!
Let me know what you think (of the slide show!).
I’m also new to the music aspect (i.e., how to get music I can use that I like!), so if anyone has knowledge in this area (Chuck?), I’d love to hear it!

Prior to meeting for our scheduled Saturday session, Emma’s mom and I had been corresponding to help me know a little bit more about Emma. I was really looking forward to meeting her, especially based on how mom described her. Emma did not disappoint! I had so much fun!

My youngest son had a field trip yesterday to a local farm. Between both of my boys, I have visited this farm at least 4 times. Honestly, I do like field trips, but what made yesterday especially enjoyable was the weather! Yes, it was still prudent to wear my rain boots due to the mostly-mud terrain, but this year I was not wearing 5 layers of clothes and I was not huddled under an umbrella!
