My youngest son had a field trip to the zoo recently. The weather was not good – lots of rain and wind – but we spent a bit of time indoors. The trip focused on marine mammals (favorites of mine), so I was just as excited as my son!

By 8 am yesterday morning, my boys had crawled into bed with me (the key here being that I was still in bed!).

We spent the next hour reading together.

And, although the reading material was questionable, my boys and I had tons of fun laughing together.
