A bride and her dad

Father-daughter relationships tug at my heart.
I am one of four daughters, and I greatly treasure my relationship with my dad.
It makes me smile when I see other daughters enjoying their dads…I smiled a lot this past weekend (the bride is one of three daughters).
Here are two of my favorite photographs focusing on this father-daughter relationship.
The dance.
The toast given by the father of the bride.

Well Jen….I waited awhile to reply….just wanting to soak in the photos and enjoy them. As you know, I love my girls and I’m so proud of them all. Your photos are really fantastic. As the “father of the bride” (the girls tell them I remind them of the movie by the same name)it’s great to see my beautiful daughter on her special day, making the transition from one of my little girls to a young woman and now married to a great young man. You’re capturing some very special times for us all and I think we’ll be indebted to you for saving these memories for us. I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos…and the rest of my girls through your lense as well! We’ve had 3 wonderful weddings for our girls. I am truly blessed. Loy Helmly
