Flower girl and ring bearer

Twins.
Two years old.
Need I say more?
At Friday’s rehearsal, the flower girl was enjoying her task of holding the basket and “standing” with the bridesmaids. The ring bearer was a little hesitant and really didn’t wander far from mom.
On Saturday, they, too, were getting ready at the wedding site.
The ring bearer eyes his jacket with a wee bit of suspicion.
“A tie too?”
Here they are, in the wagon, at the ceremony, patiently waiting for their cue.
And they are off…
It seemed to be a little too much for the flower girl who was soon rescued and carried down the aisle by mom, while brother continued to tow his wagon much to everyone’s delight.
Here is the ring bearer after the ceremony (I think he was quite pleased with himself!).
They got a lift to the reception with two of the groomsmen.
When I was talking to the mother of these two, she said that she jokingly asked the bride and groom to wait another year (that maybe the twins at 3 years old would be better), but I thought they were wonderful!

I love the pictures and the kids want to keep looking at them. “Show pictures Mommy, show pictures.” They also keep talking about “The Wedding”. What a fun & special way to be a part of a meaningful day of two of our family’s favorite friends.

What super candids of my favorite two year old grandchildren. I just love these shots and of course, I loved the wedding where these were taken.
