Fun to carve, good to eat?!

We’re a little tardy this year in carving pumpkins. It’s usually something we do at the beginning of October so we can enjoy the smiles all month long. Here it is, October 31st…and we’ll be carving tonight.
Last night we were commenting on this sad state of affairs and all began laughing when we thought of our carving experience a few years ago. I searched for some evidence and found these
Here is Angus amongst the pumpkins, ready to observe the goings-on (just a side note: our other Scottie, Duffy, had died in July, so Angus, since July was constantly with us!).
Angus is usually fairly aloof and in the background (especially when the boys are around and excited!), so we were a little surprised when he came in to investigate closer.
I’m not quite sure why he gave me this glance…maybe he was wondering why we weren’t partaking?
He didn’t hesitate long.
Maybe everyone needs a little squash in their diet?!
Rest assured that Angus will get his fill again tonight!
