Time together

The boys and I did a get-away last year as well, because by the end of summer a lot of this
and this
is happening.
Often I am at a loss with the fighting and the teasing, the back-talk and the attitude. Many times I think I would prefer to run away by myself! But there is also part of me that remembers that with school beginning again, uninterrupted time with my boys is very infrequent and I do miss them.
Yesterday afternoon, we explored a new beach,

and yes, there is still some fighting (as shown in the photos at the beginning of this post), but on our adventures, it is short-lived and infrequent.
We were all really excited with the cool driftwood fort!
