Both of my boys had Valentine’s Day parties in their classes yesterday afternoon.
I loved these parties when I was in school!
I liked making the valentine holders. I remember mine looking a lot like these.

I love this type of session. I’m not giving any direction per se; I’m simply observing and capturing who they are, what they like to do, their current favorites…in essence, I’m creating a small snapshot of their life as it is now, for they change so quickly, don’t they?!

Tuesday afternoons usually produce a few hours of uninterrupted work. I look forward to this time every week – I’m at home, at my desk, enjoying a quiet house. And I do get lots of work done.

Oh, was he ever angry with me! And at that moment, I can’t say I was very pleased with him either.
He stomped out of the room and up the stairs. I let a few minutes pass, heard nothing, and decided I’d better go have a chat with him.
