My side of the bed

In January we had some minor house remodeling. One of the outcomes of this remodeling was a re-orientation of our bed. My side of the bed had previously faced the door to our bedroom and hence any little greeters (or complainers or sick ones) came straight to me. I teased my husband about the change, because with it, he was now closest to the door. He said it wouldn’t change anything except that the kids would simply travel farther to reach their destination of choice. These past few weeks have proven him correct – they have been full of night-time and early morning visits at my side of the bed! This past week my youngest son went to school on Monday but then stayed home the rest of the week with a cold. My eldest woke up Friday morning with a very hoarse voice and a sore throat. Saturday am, my youngest had tummy troubles. Is winter over yet??
I did escape for a bit on Saturday for a fabulous photo session in Seattle with Eric and Camie.
