After being skunked the day before, a fishing party was eager to depart Sunday morning. I joined the boat since I didn’t want to miss any action should it occur.

I took my camera with me yesterday when I delivered food to a friend. She had a baby last Friday.
Jack was sleeping for the brief bit I was there.

While in CA, I enjoyed a visit from Miss Rylan who recently celebrated her first birthday.
Rylan is enjoying the freedom found in toddling – translated : more ground coverage and greater scope of exploration.

Is there really only 2 more weeks until school starts?
Yes, processing photos seems to take forever since I’m almost constantly interrupted, but I’m at home with my two boys, who, truth be told, help me manage my time more wisely. After hours of computer time, I become much less efficient and rather cranky. Having my boys nearby reminds me to take breaks. We enjoyed several yesterday – napping on the trampoline, reading a few more chapters from James and the Giant Peach, and taking bikes to the park for a short ride. Other smaller breaks in my computer time included sorting through school clothes and supplies while making a list of what is still needed (not as fun).
How can summer go by so quickly??
Well, here’s to enjoying these last few weeks! Have a great Wednesday!
And to prove that I am still working
here’s another from Elly’s senior session.
