A cold, a discovery, and a new friend

My youngest son has been sick this week with a fairly nasty cold, so we’ve spent a lot of time at home.
Our household has been in the midst of a few smaller projects (thank you, Aaron!), and while I was moving and sorting, I found some favorite childhood items. One item in particular has become a huge favorite with my sick, stay-at-home son.
I am the youngest of 4. It has been said that my mother asked me if I wanted a younger brother or sister; I reportedly said “no.” So instead of a younger sibling, I got a Snoopy.
He was very well-loved.
He was also well-outfitted. I found his bag of clothes.
Here is Snoopy in his aviator outfit (my son’s favorite, Snoopy’s too).
Snoopy also has a Spanish matador costume, a workout outfit (we are talking late 70s and 80s here), a Scottish kilt, lederhosen, and a railroad engineer outfit.
I think Snoopy’s glad he was discovered.

AHHHHHH! I also have my Snoopy and Belle and all their clothes in a little trunk, the kids love to play with them, wasn’t the 80′s Snoopy craze a great thing!

This is such a sweet post! I’m sure that Snoopy was just sitting in his box waiting to be found. Precious memories!
