My eldest had another book report due recently…this time the focus was on a how-to book of his choice.

After much deliberation (and with endless choices such as How to Be A Pirate, How to Draw Scooby Doo, and How to Build A Time Machine), he chose How to Build A Rocket.

I very quickly shirked my responsibility on this one and asked my husband if he’d help.

My son was very excited to get started.

I’m signing off for an early weekend.  A friend and I will be heading out tomorrow morning to Portland by train for a conference – I’m looking forward to it!
