Pulling an all-nighter

It never worked for me well in college…doesn’t work well for me now.

My eldest was sick Sunday night – poor guy!

I was just about to go to bed when he came downstairs saying he had a stomach ache.  We were up the rest of the night.  I tried to go to bed a few times, only to be woken up 15-20 minutes later.

Once the clock read 6:30am, I figured I’d just start the morning since my youngest would be up soon.

Oh was he ever sad to discover that his brother was sick!  Video games are played on weekends (and holidays) only in our house, and he needs to play with his brother in order to advance to the next level.

My eldest, hearing a bit of the sad conversation, but still feeling so awful, said “I just want to die and go to heaven ’cause I don’t want to be sick anymore…but [my brother] would be sad because I’ve figured out how to finish the [video game] levels.”

Around noon yesterday my eldest began to feel a bit better.

So thankful for Gatorade and naps!

Oh my poor Josh, I hope he is all well now and looking forward to finishing the level with Zach. I see that Zach has lost all his curls, did his Dad have anything to do with that?
