Back to…

January 4th, 2010  |  Published in Everyday Life  |  1 Comment

early mornings, making lunches, driving to school, homework, and missing my boys.  Vacation went by way too fast.  I loved the time we had to just BE together.  When school’s in session, they are at school from 8:30 to 3.  When they get home, there’s homework to do, dinner to make and eat, and an early bedtime so we can get up and do it all again.  From where I’m sitting right now, the new year looks a bit bleak.

SO – this is my resolve – I’m choosing to be joyful this day.  I’ll pray for my boys and their time at school.  I’ll look forward to the time I have with them this afternoon and evening.  I’ll look at homework as another opportunity to encourage my boys and teach perseverance (for me too!).

:-)

In my time at home alone today, I will get some work done!  I still have a lot to process and post from these last few weeks.  Here’s a photo of my youngest with one of his favorite Christmas gifts (remember, he loves anything owl!).

Some of my together-time with him included dissecting this owl pellet (it was all synthetic so not as gross as you might think).

eve

the evening or the day before a special day

There’s much I wanted to write on this eve of a new year.

I wanted to reflect on 2009 and dream about 2010.  It’s already early evening and my boys are pumped for the eve’s activities, so the reflecting and dreaming will probably be another post.  But I do want to say a huge thank you! to you my clients and my blog readers – thank you for a great year!

Have a fabulous eve whatever you are doing!

We’re continuing this week’s trend of togetherness, fun, and lots of laughter.
