5 days off from the regular routine sounds so good, and it is!
My boys didn’t have school on Friday and they don’t have school today or tomorrow due to conferences. We’ve been relaxing, sleeping, reading, making more cookies, going on walks, playing, watching movies, etc. – so nice!
My boys are such opposites in some areas (food preferences for example). We went out for lunch yesterday and my eldest
chose steamers;
while my youngest
picked waffles (going with his preferred food group of “anything with syrup +bacon”).
Side note: can you tell that they love having their pictures taken?!
My boys are similar in many ways as well. They love to create. Before bedtime last night, they took paper, crayons, pens, and scissors and made themselves into bionicles.
I’m looking forward to 2 more days at home with my boys.

I love to see their creativity! They are blessed to have a mom who recognizes their differences as well as their similarities.

That is all part of the adventure, different in some ways but yet alike in many. Definitely have their Mom’s artistic style! So cute and getting to be big boys…not sure how I feel about that.
