Happy December 1st!
What a fun, often crazy, month! Our family celebrates Christmas, two birthdays, and an anniversary.
Speaking of Christmas, I loved these Christmas pjs in a recent session. I especially like this photo because it was taken during one of those in-between moments with crying, squirming, and the “are we done yet?” look.

I had a few minutes last week to walk the park. I soon arrived at a grove of trees and went no further. The afternoon sun was shining through the leaves…I was a bit enthralled.
I think I’ve mentioned my love of the summer season once or twice
but I do love sunny, fall days as well.

A week ago today, we got our boys up very early, had them dress in their school clothes, and told them we had to take Devon up to a job site and then I would take them back in time for school. Devon and I had packed the day before while the boys were with Katelyn and the grandparents; and after the boys were in bed we packed up the car, throwing towels and blankets over the suitcases…we couldn’t wait to surprise them.
As we neared the airport parking lot the next morning, we pulled into a gas station and turned on the interior car lights. Up front we were still deciding details while in back they were listening to an Odyssey CD. I do apologize for the novice video attempt, but at least the moment was captured…
